Olamilekan Johnson professionally known as Lammy John is a Nigerian recording artiste, singer, songwriter and performer.

He was born on the 21st of March. He had his primary and secondary education in Lagos where he was born and bred. He moved to Ibadan to study psychology at the University of Ibadan (UI).

Lammy's interest as a growing child was in music and attending church where he began exploring his developing talents.

He started out in the choir and he grew up listening to legends like King Sunny Ade, Onyeka Onwenu, Evangelist Dr. Ebenezer Obey, Sunny Okosun and many more legends to mention but a few.

Lammy took music officially in the year 2014 as a recording artiste. His genre of music is Contemporary Worship Music(gospel).

In 2016, he gave his voice in the fight against gender discrimination as he wrote a song titled "She Deserves to be Loved". The song gained acceptance by many as he was invited to the US Consulate Lagos by the organizers of the "Africa4her" event(a Michelle Obama initiative) to perform the song.

Lammy aims to herald God's love and presence in every soul and home through his music and also create a bridge between music genres while making sure the gospel aspect of it is on a fore-front platform just as the other genres.

Lammy see himself more as a messenger than a performer.
